if you think Socialism is any thing but a catastraphy then you should look here in the UK. Englands Westminster has destroyed what was left of a once great nation. My bonnieScotland is sliding down with the the rif raff called the British parliament.
your Marshal once said when the UK lost india it would take about 10 years for the UK to loose the rest of its empire. Marshal was so correct. He went on to say the UK would be a mere shell it once was and it would slide into obscurity, but not before it turns on its own and destroys a good people first, in a mirror image of Romes fall. Adam Smith and Andrew Carnegie were correct about socialism. we in the UK are living proof. this nation bans anything and books that might let the nation see the truth. or they simply pass a new law to make legal the govts illegal activities. that is what a socialist/communist/fasist govt does

I don't know why they were targeted either, but the Celtic Craft Centre has left a bad taste in my mouth, and from what I read on other blogs, I am not alone. They were very quick to take my order, but I never received my kilt. After 6 months of first evasive responses and then no response, I finally cancelled the order and got my money back from my credit card company. They have been blackballed from the Estes Park, CO festivities as I was not the only complainant. I suspect that at one time, this was a good company, but it definitely has problems now.

We're going to a Burns Night dinner this Saturday (January 17th). I know that Robert Burn's birthday is actually January 25th, but our local group is doing it all on a Saturday when more people will be available instead of the following Sunday.

It's going to be my first Burns Night, and my first time trying Haggis as well. I'm really looking forward to the event.

An armed society is a polite society...

It just about has to be doesn't it.

Unless you're in a <a href="http://www.mydesert.com/article/20081128/NEWS10/81128021/1112/EVENTS02" rel="nofollow">Toys "R" Us.</a> Then it's every man for himself.

Events like this leave me wondering about the humanity of humans sometimes.

You've got an interesting site here. I think I may have to come back more often.
